Tried different settings, no help.
I have owned other models in the past and loved them.
I returned this iron and got the old one back, just thought it was time to upgrade.
I wish they still made the one i use now.

Performance: This iron removes wrinkles in a flash, is a steam powerhouse and heats up and cools down quickly. It glides effortlessly over fabrics and removes wrinkles in a single pass. It steams so well, that it doesn't seem to need the burst of steam feature, however it does have this feature. And you may not need sizing or starch because of its good performance on its own. This is important because some people might have allergies to starch or sizing chemicals. And let's face it, that stuff smells nasty and it's unhealthy to be breathing.
This unit steams well and DOES steam automatically on wool/silk temperatures but not on nylon settings.
Aesthetics: My iron looks just like the representative picture you see here for this review section. It's an attractive, traditional shape, with non traditional colors. And I'm glad it's one of my favorite colors (purple, lavender)... Read more

When I bought this one less than two years ago I didn't like the cord, it was too thick making it a little less mobile. Well now we have to jiggle the cord and get it in a certain position to get the iron to turn on. My husband is going to unscrew the bottom to see if he can determine the problem but I'm very disappointed. I loved the first one, was not as crazy about this one and am now very upset that in less than two years it's not working.
